Can I sign in with my Google account?
Yes. Besides the usual sign-in, the sign-in page has a Sign in with Google button. Your Google account first has to be connected to your Playerlineup account; after that, signing in with Google is enough:
- Go to your team's page (teamname.playerlineup.com) and to the sign-in form.
- Type your name or email address and your password as usual, but press the Sign in with Google button. The service signs you in and connects your Google account to this account.
- Next time, Sign in with Google is enough, with no password.
If you press the Google button before connecting, the service brings you back to the sign-in form and asks you to sign in with your password once; that connects the accounts. On the service's common sign-in page (playerlineup.com/users/sessions) signing in with Google finds your account even without connecting, if your Google account's name and email address are the same as in your Playerlineup account.
Several accounts can be connected to the same Google account, for example your accounts in different teams, and signing in with Google opens them all at once. A parent or guardian connects their Google account to their own guardian account, not to the child's.
