Why does the whole team use the same language?
We’ve found that using a single language makes communication within the team easier. We’ve aimed to make the service very intuitive so that non-native speakers or children just learning to read can also use it. For example, when the team itself decides whether to call events “practice” or, say in Swedish, “träningar,” it’s easier for everyone to talk about the event. The same applies when a coach asks players to add photos and explains what to click at the top of the page. This language choice is a compromise, but it has worked well in practice.
